The GHS Baseball team has made a new change to their playing field that both spectators and athletes can get excited about. A 10 inning score board, measuring 36ftx10ft, can be seen distinctly from the front of the campus at GHS. It also boast the same GHS block G logo as seen on the new turf football field, which showcases school pride with an aesthetically pleasing design. The perfect time to see this new addition will be in the spring, as the scoreboard will be illuminated by the scores and home-runs of the GHS baseball team!

BONUS:  A Quick Look at the Teams Off-Season Dedication

While the official season for baseball doesn’t start until the spring, athletes have already started training like champions. Around 20-30 GHS Bobcats have been attending workout sessions in the weight room each day. A successful player must have an agile and powerful body, and by starting  this early the baseball team is already a step ahead of the competition.

Every Monday and Thursday, from 3:45-5:45, players have strength training and conditioning. If interested, see Mr.Thurman (Jeff Thurman) in room 201 , it’s not too late to join!
