The Lady Cats just played an extraordinary tournament, taking home first place. Coming out on top with a victory of 8-1 against Duluth with a recording of 6 out of 9 players having one or more hits the ballgame. Defeating their next opponent, Jackson County, with a score of 4-2. Senior Karli Loundermilk took the lead in this game with a 3-4 at the plate. This is the Lady Cats 3rd victory against White County, who gave the Lady cats a challenge by coming up with a dramatic late comeback to tie the game. Mallory Kiser came up clutch with a walk-off single securing the Lady Cats  5-3 victory against the Lady Warriors. The final game of the night was against the Lady Indians of Lumpkin County. With a great team effort our Lady Cats won 4-1 leading them to 1st place in the 2016 Lainer Point Invitational!! Asking player Raiven Pierce how she thought the tournament  she stated that “It was great, I mean there were a couple of mistakes, but overall we did pretty good.”
